South Seas Homes, Inc. was established in 1991. Our main goal and purpose was to build quality homes at an affordable price. With this purpose in mind, South Seas, Inc. built communities and an outstanding reputation for high-quality homes at an affordable price. We incorporated all phases into one building process, from preplanning sessions to job costs. Leslie Wooten, our President/CEO's experience represent the future of the industry. His skills and professionalism in combination with proved construction methods and techniques create homes of permanence.

South Seas Homes, Inc. was our previous name. We are now South Seas Inc. Our company's name was changed in order to give the company a more broad position in the construction field, based on the fact that our company experienced an increase in public awareness as well as our increase in heavy construction projects such as highways, street and bridge construction. We now provide a new range of services that we proudly guarantee to be top quality all the time. These are just some examples of how our company has grown since 1991.

In 1995, South Seas Inc., received a city contract from the City of Memphis to build twenty four houses. Since that time we have built several subdivisions and a variety of houses based on different plans in order to please everyone's needs. During that time we applied and reviewed our Tennessee Department of Transportation's (TDOT) license. Later on in the year 2002 we received a contract form the State of Tennessee Department of Transportation to work as a subcontractor for the state's Highway Department.

At the present time we are certified for Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), Alabama Department of Transportation (ADOT), and Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT). In 2002 we also obtained the certification as a participant in the U.S. Small Business Administration Disadvantaged Business (SBD) in the Federal Government's SDB program.
